Benahavís is a village of typical white houses in Málaga that is located in a valley on the slope of the Sierra Blanca. It is located 7 kilometers from the Costa del Sol, between Estepona and Marbella.

Located in the foothills of the Serrania de Ronda mountains between the towns of San Pedro and Estepona, Benahavis village is incredibly picturesque, with its narrow cobbled streets and quaint whitewashed houses having been the inspiration of many an artist throughout the ages.

The village is probably most famous as a haven of gastronomic excellence, as it boasts a wide choice of superb Spanish and international restaurants, but what many don’t realise is that it’s also the second largest municipality in geographical terms in the whole of Spain, with one of the lowest set of local taxation rates for residents on the Costa del Sol.
The town’s boundaries stretch many kilometres into the hinterland and as most of its area remains undeveloped and unpopulated, it’s blessed with outstanding natural beauty, including three major rivers (the Guadalmina, Guadaiza and Guadalmanza) and several spots of great historical significance such as El Cerro del Duque, Daidin and the Montemayor Castle.
